Text Fragment Linking #

You can select any text on a documentation page and share a direct link to it. When someone opens that link, the selected text is highlighted and scrolled into view.

Selecting and sharing text #

Select any text in the content area of a page. A small tooltip will appear above the selection with a “Copy link” button. Click it to copy a shareable URL to your clipboard.

The copied URL encodes the selected text as a fragment in the URL. When opened, the page highlights the matching text and scrolls to it automatically.
